Divorce is a supremely personal and often challenging experience. Most women we have worked with at the Wildflower Group had no idea what the road map for a divorce would take them, and were frequently lost during their journey. They didn't know enough to ask the right questions. You may have heard of the divorce mantra—"I didn't know what I didn't know." One of our goals at the Wildflower Group is to help women arm themselves with information so they are prepared to handle the potholes divorce sends their way.
Let's be very clear, divorce requires making life changing decisions when most women are not at their best. The reality is that shock, stress, and anxiety take a toll. After the final documents have been signed there is often a request for a "do over," because women now understand the process and are thinking more clearly.
To make informed decisions for their futures, women must educate and arm themselves with the most powerful information available. But how do you do that when you're feeling like you're just trying to put one foot in front of the other and don't know where to turn?
Well, we've got you covered! Recently we launched an online divorce support group. If you have questions to which you can't find the answers, post your question in our online community. Other Wildflower Women who have been through the divorce process can share their experiences and help guide you in the right direction. Together, we can help each other blossom amidst the challenges of divorce.
In addition, Wildflower Group's years of experience has resulted in our highly recommended reading list. Check out this resource here: https://www.wildflowergroup.net/divorce-resources-for-women. We've included books on legal issues, career, family dynamics, self care, housing, and communication. Enjoy a glass of wine, bowl of ice cream, or cup of tea and check into some of these books. You'll have peace of mind that you are prepared to make the life decisions to create the future you want!
