Planning for the financial "breakup"

I am so thankful for all the candid "wish I had known" experiences shared by women who have been through divorce. I am making a plan for the near future and to take the leap but still the financial unknown is the delay as I save cash and get the full financial picture of what it will look like when I meet with the financial planner next week.... any tips?

Hi Tracy~

Good for you that you are getting a financial plan in place! Women always say that gives them piece of mind.

A good place to start is to have a conversation with a legal adviser and financial professional. They can help you understand what your financial picture will likely be and get you on the path to creating a solid strategy.

Here are some suggestions to help get your finances organized https://www.wildflowergroup.net/blog/solutions-for-budgeting-blues !
